Who are we

Pegasus Psychotherapy is a group of independent child and adolescent psychotherapists who are all members of the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP) and trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

The ACP is the main professional body for psychoanalytic psychotherapists in the UK and is registered with the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). The ACP is recognised by the Department of Health for the accreditation of UK training in Child Psychotherapy. Pegasus’ therapists are bound by the ACP code of ethics.

About Child Psychotherapists

Child Psychotherapists offer psychoanalytic treatment for children, adolescents, parents and families, individually or in groups, with a range of complex psychological difficulties and disorders.

We are trained to observe a young person and respond to what they are communicating through their behaviour and play, attempting to put into words the troubled feelings that children sometimes evoke.
